Had the opporunity this past Saturday to shoot the Jonas Brothers in concert at Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. Being no newbie to concerts, I figured that working stage-side without a photo barrier from the screaming teenagers would be a breeze…. not so much.

After testing light, taking a few test shots, waiting for the trio to take the stage, I began to relax and get ready to put my index finger to work, snapping away, whilst strengthening my arms balancing the Canon 70-200mm 2.8L II.

Moments later the stage doors rolled away revealing the brothers, and it was at that very moment that I was nearly trampled by hundreds of girls whose bedroom walls and trapper-keepers are undoubtedly plastered with clippings of these 3 with sticker hearts surrounding their favorite brother.

It took a few seconds to get used to the commotion and to realize that being right at the stage probably wasn’t the best idea. I repositioned myself about 25 feet from the stage, and was able to capture a number of decent shots from the concert.

Orianthi performed a mini concert for fans at the Q102 Radio station in Philadelphia, PA yesterday, August 12th.

Had the opportunity to shoot promo photos of Adam Lambert & Orianthi today here at Q102.

Adam was hilarious! Really cool dude. And of course, he had all of the ladies, and some men, going crazy. There were a number of characters here today, between the 8yr old with a drawing of her with Adam to the lady with the rainbow boa wrapped around her neck.
